Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established by the Government of Tami Nadu during early eighties to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using bagasse, a sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with a initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tpa and the Company has emerged as the largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tonnes of bagasse every year. The Company completed a Mill Expansion Plan during December 2010 to increase the mill capacity to 4,00,000 tpa.

Education: BE/ BTECH (Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation) from a recognized University.
Age Limit as on 01.01.2015:
43 years
Work Experience: Minimum 21 years of experience
Areas of Experience: In erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of all types of measuring instruments / transmitters, Servo valves / proportional valves of hydraulic system, control / on-off valves, pneumatic / hydraulic actuators, controls and automation systems, DCS with profibus, PLCs etc., in a large size continuous process industries like Pulp & Paper, Refinery, Fertilizer, Petro-chemical, Metals and Minerals processing, Chemical etc. or Thermal Power
Plants. Hands on experience on HMI / SCADA programming is preferred.
