Appointment of Civil Engineers as Interns at SERC under the CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Awards Scheme

Qualification : Applicant for the award should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Civil OR Structural Engineering and should have secured First Class or equivalent GPA in the above mentioned degree.
Date And Time of walk-in: 14th August 2009 at 9.00 A.M
Maximum Age as on 14-08-2009 :
The age limit for the applicants shall be 25 years which is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/ OBC and female candidates.
Duration of the Internship & Stipend : The internship shall be tenable at SERC, Chennai, for a period of two years from the date of joining and not extendable under any circumstances. The Interns shall be given a consolidated stipend of Rs.11500/- per month. No other allowance shall be payable to the Interns.
Interested candidates are requested to bring their application as per annexure along with recent passport size photo enclosing attested copies of certificates and testimonials and appear for test and interview on Friday, the 14th August 2009 at 9.00 A.M at this Centre .An interview will be held at this Centre on the same date for the shortlisted candidates based on the performance in the test. No separate call letter will be sent for test/interview .
