POWERGRID, as CTU, is the nodal agency for processing & grant of Connectivity, Long Term Open Access / Long Term Access (LTOA/LTA) and Medium Term Open Access (MTOA). For integrated development of transmission system for dispersal of power from IPP generation projects, eleven (11) nos. of High Capacity Power Transmission Corridors (HCPTCs) are being implemented with completion in a phased manner matching with generation projects. POWERGRID also manages entire Grid Management and Operation in the country through its 100% wholly owned subsidiary Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO).

Education: BE/ BTECH (Electrical/ Civil) from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
Age Limit as on 01.06.2015:
29 years
Work Experience: Should have one year post qualification Experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE) / Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TL) / Sub-Station (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU / listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preffered.
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 33,000/- in the first and second year respectively.
