Education: BE/ BTECH (Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering) with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University and diploma from NPTI/CEA approved training institute & BOE certificates shall be preferred.
Department: O&M
Work Experience: 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in a power plant of capacity not less than 100 MW about basic power plant operation and trouble shooting
Experience Field: Must have knowledge on power plant basics, water chemistry, knowledge on electrical system of a power plant including equipment protection, basic control system & hands on experience on DCS control system for main plant control room operation. Responsible for power plant operation and trouble shooting, equipment start-up and shutdown using DCS control, Perform equipment performance/condition monitoring, reporting defects to the maintenance teams, keeping chemical parameters within permissible limits, carry out electrical switching, preparing generation statistics.
