The Jute Corporation of India Ltd. (JCI) was set up in 1971 as an official agency by the Government of India with the aim to provide minimum support price (MSP) to the jute cultivators and also work as a helping hand in the raw jute sector. JCI was established by the Indian Government for the welfare of the jute growers, for example, granting them a certain amount of funds with the help of which they can have their own farming sector of jute. The JCI was first started as a small official agency at the beginning but then slowly it expanded its networking and now has almost spread in 7 states successfully for jute growing. The states which are eminent for jute growing in India include West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Orissa, and Andhra Pradesh.
MANAGER (MIS/SYSTEM)
Job Location: Kolkata
Pay Scale: Rs.24900 – 50500
Education: BE/ B.Tech (Electronics & Computer Engineering / IT / Computer Science) from a recognized University/ Institute.
Work Experience:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in related fields out of which at least 2 years in the pay scale of Rs.20600 – 46500/- (Revised IDA as on 1-1-2007) or equivalent.
Age Limit: 35-40 years
Work Domain: Responsible for computerization activity in JCI. Implementation and supervision of different Data Processing activity on Client Server architectural set up, LAN/WAN set up to manage and monitor office MIS functions encompassing the whole range of Data Processing and Database Management with a view to increasing the capacity for handling of numerical and textual data. Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring required IT model to meet these needs. Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
