BE/ BTECH (Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics) required in Indian Air Force..

The Indian Air Force took off as a tiny fleet with four Westland Wapiti army co-operative by-planes, six RAF trained officers and 19 Hawai Sepoys. Today, it is the fourth largest Air Force in the world with a highly technical and specialised fighting force that safeguards our skies against enemy invasions. Applications are invited for males/ female citizens of India for the following courses commencing on January 2012-

• 80th Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) Men
• 9th SSC Flying Branch for Men
• 38 SSC Flying Branch for Women
• 52nd Short Service Commission Course (SSC) Men & Women

Educational Qualification: BE/ BTECH (Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics) with 60% marks from a recognized university.

Physical Standards:

For Men—>

• Flying Branch- Minimum Height is 162.5 cms with correlated weight and leg length in the range 99 – 120cms
• Technical Branch- Minimum Height is 157.5 cms with correlated weight.

For Women—>

• Flying Branch- Minimum Height is 162.5 cms with correlated weight and leg length in the range 99 – 120cms
• Technical Branch-  Minimum Height is 152 cms with correlated weight
