ECIL is having job vacancy in year 2011 for hiring BE/ Btech freshers Engineering graduates for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET)

Name of the Organization: ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited)

Type of Job: Government Job, Public Sector

Educational Qualification Needed: The candidate must have completed his/her engineering degree (BE/ Btech ) with first class and atleast 65% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/STs) from college/ University approved by AICTE and recognized by Government of India.

Engineering Branches Seats allocation: 

• For the Branches ECE, EEE, EI, CSE, CIVIL & MECHANICAL there are in total 125 posts which are divided in the following categories (GEN-74, OBC-25, SC-11, ST-8 & PH -7 (backlog-3) (VH, HH & OH)
• For Chemical there is only 1 post and that is only for general category

Age limit : 25 YEARS

Stipend and Salary Details: One the candidates successfully pass the recruitment Procedure, they shall be kept Under 1 year training and shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.25,790/- on monthly basis. After successful completion of training, they shall be given appointment on the post of Engineers on Contractual Basis for 3 years. The total Salary emoluments will be Rs.35,130/-for 1st year, Rs.36,200/- for 2nd year & Rs.37,300/- for 3rd year (for all Metros) which includes variable DA and fringe benefits.

After successful completion of contract appointment, they will be kept permanently  into the company as Technical Officer in the scale of pay of Rs.16,400-3%-40,500/- with total emoluments of Rs.38,430/- (with DA & Fringe benefits).

Selection Cycle: The candidates will have to undergo 2 rounds of selection, of which the first shall be a written test and the second one will be an Interview.

The written test will be conducted in the following places (In alphabetic order):
Ahmedabad, Benguluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna & Trivandrum.
