The major areas of R & D thrust of the Centre include Structural Concrete Engineering & Technology, Sustainable Materials and Composites, Retrofitting/rehabilitation of Structures, Computational Structural Mechanics for Analysis and Design & Software Development, Transmission Line Towers, Metal Structure Behaviour & Fatigue and Fracture, Structural Health Monitoring and Evaluation & Forensic Analysis and Wind Engineering and Earthquake Engineering. Educational Background: ME/ MTECH (Civil) from a recognized University with specialization in structural engineering
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who are having knowledge of advanced structural analysis and design; familiarity with computer programming; use of software(s) and experimental techniques for structural engineering applications will be preferred.
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100
Age Limit: Max. 37 years
Salary: Rs. 18750 + Grade Pay of RS. 6600
Sr. Technical Officer (OBC-1)
Educational Background: BE/ BTECH (Electronics and Communication) with 55% marks from a recognized University.
Work Experience: 02 years
Desirable: Candidates having experience in research institutions will be preferred.
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100
Age Limit: Rs. 15600 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Salary: Max. 38 years
Fee Details: DD of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of I.R.F, SERC payable at Chennai. SC/ STs are exempted from paying the fees.
