To Apply and Application Fees: Candidates are required to download the prescribed Application form from CBRI website www.cbri.res.in or can be obtained from Controller of Administration, CBRI, Roorkee – 247667 in person Photocopies of application form can also be used. The application form should be filled by candidates legibly with his/her own hand-writing using Blue ball point pen. Filled in application(s) in all respects, duly signed by the candidates along with synopsis sheet supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience, etc together with an application fee (if applicable) of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (US $25 for candidates applying from abroad) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director, CBRI payable at State Bank of India (Code No.10635), CBRI Branch, Roorkee is to be sent in an envelope super scribing “Application for the post____________ (name of post applied for with Post code & Post
No.)” to the following address so as to reach on or before 8.6.2010.

Note: No fee is payable for applying for the position of Research Interns.
On-Line Applications: A provision also exists for on-line submission of application. The details of the Demand Draft must be filled in appropriate column in the online form. Candidates after successfully submitting application on-line, should take a print-out of the
Application Form, paste his/her recent photograph in the appropriate column/space in the application, attach requisite documents along with the Demand Draft and should send at the address given above. Application submitted on-line will be treated as complete only if the
hard copy of the application, duly signed by the candidate, along with relevant documents and DD as mentioned above are received at CBRI on or before the last date of submission of application i.e. 08.6.2010. (In case of any difficulty in applying online,candidate may contact

- Candidate belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/Ex-servicemen/CSIR Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Candidates applying for more than one Post No. should apply separately for each Post No.(except where specifically instructed) indicating the Post Code and Post No. of the post accompanied by separate requisite DDs of Rs.100/- each.
- Candidates who are in service in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies etc. should send their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should enclose a ‘No Objection Certificate’ of their employer with the application failing which their candidature will
not be considered. Vigilance clearance in respect of the employee should also be recorded in the forwarding letter. However, advance copy of the application may be submitted before the closing date which will be considered only if the original application is received through
proper channel within 15 days from due date for submission of applications - Candidates should specifically note that the applications received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever (such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere, postal delay etc.) will not be entertained by CBRI. Any enclosure received separately subsequent to the receipt of the application cannot be connected therewith. No representation in this regard will be entertained.
- Incomplete application (i.e. without photograph, without attested copy of educational certificates/ experience certificate, unsigned and blank columns) will not be entertained and will stand rejected.
