JRF (Junior Research Fellow ) in IIT Madras | June 2010

Applications are invited for one temporary post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for the CSIR project on “Numerical simulation of coupled navier-stokes…. phase- separation under” in the Dept. of Applied Mechanics.
DURATION: Initially for one year (extendable for 2 more years)
QUALIFICATION: B.E/ B.Tech/EQUIVALENT (AERO/CHEMICAL/MECHANICAL)
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Experience in Computational Mechanics involving C/FORTRAN/MATLAB programming background is desirable
FELLOWSHIP: Rs.12,000/-p.m.
NOTE: Candidates will be eligible for House Rent Allowance as per Institute norms, subject
to eligibility.
Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
