BSNL is doing Recruitment of Junior Telecom Officers (Telecom) under Special Recruitment Drive(SRD) for Persons with Disabilities(PWD) and is conducting an open examination for filling up of the 7 posts under this category.

The Last Date for receipt of application for this examination is 15th October 2010. The Examination is likely to be conducted during November or December 2010.

JTO ( Telecom)

 Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology. Instrumentation . Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification by 31.12.2010.) Candidate should not be more than 30 yrs.

Pay Scale : Candidates who will be selected as Junior Telecom Officer will be placed on the IDA pay scale of Rs 16400-40500 with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc. as admissible as per company rules.

Age : not more than 30 yrs

Mode of Selection : The Selection of the Candidates for this post will be based on the written competitive open examination that will be held in the month of November or December this year. The examination centre will be the Circle Headquarters i.e. Patna.

The completed application form should be sent by Registered /Speed post to the DGM (Admin) O/o the CGM Telecom, 3rd Floor, Sanchar Sadan, Budh Marg, Patna-1.

The envelope containing application form should be marked "Application for J.T.Os (Telecom) Examination-2010 for PWD" , in bold letters on top of the envelope.

The SC/ST/PWD candidates are not bounded to pay the fees.
