West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has come into effect from 01.04.2007 after restructuring of erstwhile West Bengal State Electricity Board in compliance of Electricity Act 2003.WBSEDCL is a major power utility of the state with consumer strength over 74 lakhs. 5 zones, 17 circles, 53 distribution divisions and 459 electric supply offices make up the backbone to the power distribution system of the state .
Vacant Post: Principal, Electricity Employees Training Institute
Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech.(Electrical/ Mechanical) Engineering from recognized university/ institute preferably with P.G. Diploma in Training & Development from a recognized institute / university
Pay Band:
Rs, 15,600/- – 39,100/- with Grade Pay of ` 7,600/- (Approx. Gross Salary: ` 39,000/-)

Work Experience: At least, 12 years experience in the field of training and development of technical manpower, including skilled and semi-skilled categories. Must have administrative experience in running a training institute independently. Candidates having experience of minimum 3 years as head of a training institute in any Electricity Distribution Company will be preferred.
Age Limit: 35-40 years as on 01.01.2011
