BE/ BTECH (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT) required in West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB), Kolkata.

The Government of India, through the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) is implementing a project entitled ‘Capacity Building for Industrial Pollution Management’ Project (CBIPMP) with financial assistance from the World Bank and the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB), an autonomous body under the administrative control  of  the Department  of Environment,  Government  of West  Bengal  is  implementing  the CBIPMP in West Bengal.

Project Implementation Unit (PIU):  The overall responsibility for project  execution  lies with  the qualified Project Implementation Unit (PIU), headed by the Project Director. Following six cells of PIU are headed by senior officers of  the WBPCB who are responsible for project components and will work under  the Project Director:

(1)  Technical Cell (HWM)
(2)  Technical Cell (MSW)
(3)  Inf rast ructure Cell (Lab)
(4)  ECAC Cell
(5)  Finance & Accounts Cell
(6)  Procurement  Cell

 

WBPCB West Bengal Pollution Control Board

Applications  are  invited  by  the  WBPCB  for  engagement  of PIU  staff  of  the  World  Bank  funded CBIPMP  in the  following  post-

  • Procurement Specialist
  • Project  Engineer (MSW)
  • Project Engineer (HWM)
  • Project Officer (IT)
  • Environment Specialist (ECAC)
  • IT Specialist (ECAC)

Procurement Specialist

Education:  B.E. or B.Tech.

Work Experience: Post   qualification, minimum   ten   (10)   years   of   professional experience   in   international   and   national   bidding   procedure, procurement   procedure,   especially   preparation   of   Expression   of Interest,  Notice   Inviting   Tender,   Terms   of   Reference,   Request   for Proposal and bidding document for procurement of consultant services, goods and works. Preference will be given for  handling World Bank procurement procedure.

Salary:

Rs. 50,000/-

Project  Engineer (MSW)

Education: BE/ BTECH (Civil,Mechanical, Environmental) from a recognized University.

Work Experience: Post qualification, minimum eight (8) years in waste management, preferably municipal solid waste etc.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/-

Project Engineer (HWM)

Education: B.E./ B.Tech. (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil) from any recognised University.

Work Experience: Post qualification, minimum eight (8) years in process industry or in   consultancies   involved   with   hazardous   waste   management, contaminated   site   assessment,  waste   inventorisation,  waste   disposal, etc.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/-

Project Officer (IT)

Education: B.E./ B.Tech. (Computer  Science, Electronics) from  any recognised University.

Work Experience: Post   qualification, minimum   eight (8)   years   in   software development and database management.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/-

Environment Specialist (ECAC)

Education: B.E./ B.Tech. (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil) from any recognised University.

Work Experience: Post   qualification, minimum  eight (8) years  experience in environment field and/ or project.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/-

IT Specialist (ECAC)

Education: B.E./ B.Tech. (Electronics, Instrumentation, Information Technology) from any recognised University.

Work Experience: Post qualification, minimum eight (8) years  in software application.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/-
