Vikram Sarabhai Space Center is looking for fresh Engineers for the post of Scientists under Government of India. The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is a huge opportunity for brilliant BE/BTech graduates who want to have a challenging but bright career.

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) offers challenging career opportunities to bright and result-oriented Graduates in Engineering/ Science, who are capable of executing time-bound, state-of-the-art tasks of national importance in various positions.

The Space Centre has now 15 vacancies in all under different categories for the fresh Engineers and is looking for eligible Engineers to apply for these posts.

Vacancies : 15 posts,

Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 with a Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Qualification and Vacancies :

• For Aeronautic/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering

There are 05 posts for ME/ M.Tech or equivalent in Aeronautic/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Thermal Sciences. Candidates must have score 60% marks or 6.5 on a 10 point scale in respective degree.

• For Industrial Safety Engineering

There are 02 posts for ME/ M.Tech or equivalent in Industrial Safety Engineering. Candidates who wish to apply must have 60% marks or 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

• For Electrochemical Engineering

There is 01 post for ME/ M.Tech. or equivalent in Electrochemical Engineering for which the candidates must have achieved 60% marks or 6.5 on a 10 point scale in their respective degree.

• For Metallurgy Engineering

There are 06 posts for fresh BE/B.Tech. or equivalent in Metallurgy Engineering. Candidates must have got 65% marks to apply for these posts.

• For Automobile Engineering

Also there is 01 post for BE/B.Tech. or equivalent in Automobile Engineering. Candidates must have 65% marks or more to apply.

Application Procedure :  For the above vacancies, Candidates who are Interested need to fill up the on line registration form after going through the general information, guidelines and conditions. Applications will be received on-line only. The Registration of Applications is opened from 05/07/2010 to 27/07/2010.
