UPSC is looking for Aeronautical Engineering Graduates with experience to hire for the post of Assistant Director(Aircraft Engineering) under Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Educational Qualification: An engineering degree (BE/ btech) in Aeronautical Engineering with atleast second class degree from a recognized University/ College approved by AICTE.

Experience Requirement: 4 years’ experience in Aeronautical Research, Development, Design OR Airworthiness Engineering.

Desirable: Experience in Airworthiness Engineering (for those who not possessing essential qualification.

Job responsibilities: candidates work responsibilities hall include all type certificate work including approval of Engineering drawings, witnessing of static and other related tests to determine conformity of the design features and  manufacturing process to the relevant airworthiness requirements.

To assist the Director(AED) on the spot approval of structural modification, substitutions of material etc.
