Uttarakhand has a very high potential which is yet to be developed and to give impetus to power sector, Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) was formed. UJVNL is a wholly owned Corporation of the Government of Uttarakhand set up for managing hydro power generation at existing power stations and development, promotions of new hydro projects with the purpose of harnessing, the known, and yet to be known, hydro powerresources of the State.

Today, UJVNL operates hydropower plants ranging in capacity from 0.2 MW to 376 MW, totaling up to 1306 MW. Though the State is more or less sufficient in its energy generation to meet its own requirements, it is committed to develop its huge hydro power resources in an early and efficient manner for economic well-being and growth of the State and its people. 

Assistant Engineer (Trainee)

Educational Background: BE/ BTECH (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computers/ IT) from a recognized University. Candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.

Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100

Age Limit:

21-40 years.

Fee Details: DD of  Rs.400/- for gen/ OBC and others (Rs.200/- for SC/ST) in favour of "UJVN Limited" payable at Dehradun. Candidates must not forget to write their name and the name of post at the back of the Demand Draft.
