INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY EZHIMALA:  Naval Academy Ezhimala(NAVAC) is located at in the Kannur (Cannanore) District of Kerala, which forms a part of its North Malabar Region. Nestled between the imposing Mount Dilli, serene  Kavvayi  backwaters  and majestic  Arabian Sea, NAVAC provides an idyllic setting for training with its picturesque and tranquil   environment.   This is the  premier training establishment of the Indian Navy  and  will  conduct  the  basic  training for  all  officers being inducted into the Indian Navy under various schemes.  INS Zamorin  is  the base depot ship  for  administrative  and  logistic  support  for NAVAC.

Education:  BE/ BTECH (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Production, Aeronautical, Marine, Control, Avionics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation)

Age:

Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1985 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive) for Technical (GS) and Submarine Cadre (Engineering & Electrical),  and 21 to 25 years for Naval Architecture Cadre  i.e 02 July 1985 to 01 July 1989

Physical Standards:

• Height and Weight

1. For Male:  min 157 cms. with correlated weight
2. For Female: min 152 cms with correlated weight

• Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision, 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
