Kerala State Coir Machine Manufacturing Company (KSCMMC) is a Kerala Government initiative which is committed for ensuring development & growth of coir based industries in Kerala. KSCMMC is situated in Alleppey, Popularly known as ‘Venice of East’. Alleppey is known as the traditional home of coir industry in Kerala & Coir is the most important commodity manufactured in Alappuzha. KSCMMC focus upon the development of coir manufacturing equipments & machineries in order to boost the growth of coir industry in India. Our approach is to ensure the growth of coir industry by manufacturing coir fibre extraction machineries, which are well equipped & finely designed entrusted to optimum performance & easy to operate.

Power is a critical infrastructure for economic growth. Before its unbundling Assam State Electricity Board (hereafter ASEB) was the sole agency to generate, transmit and distribute electricity to the entire state of Assam. ASEB was created in 1975 under the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948. Power sector reforms were initiated in the country in the year 1991 enabling private sector investment in Generation to begin with. State Governments also followed up by reforming State owned utilities. Orissa was the first State to implement comprehensive reforms by unbundling Orissa State Electricity Board. The electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 enabled constitution of regulatory commissions by Central and State Governments.
The Travancore Cements Limited was incorporated in the year 1946. The year of commencement of business was also 1946. The company started manufacture of Grey Cement in the year 1949. The licensed capacity of the plant was 50,800 tones of Cement per annum. During 1959, the company diversified into the production of white Portland Cement. The installed capacity for the production of White Cement is 30000 tonnes per annum.
