Name of the post: Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Electrical
Educational Qualification Needed: The candidate must have completed his/her engineering degree (BE/ btech) with at least 60% marks from a college/ University approved by AICTE or AMIE and recognised by Government of India. FOR SC/ ST the essential qualification is only pass marks in engineering degree.

Selection Procedure: Selection of the candidates shall be based upon their position in Final Merit lest calculated as as Aggregate performance of the candidate in written test and Interview.
Examination Format: Wriitten Test shall consist of Objective multiple choice questions which is to be solved in the pre determined time duration of 3 hours. The written test shall consist of 2 parts
Part 1 shall consist of 50 question to test analytical ability, quantitative skills, general awareness and current affairs.
Part 2 shall consist of 126 questions based on related engineering subject in the be/ btech degree course.
Each correct answer will carry 1 mark and incorrect answer shall be given – 1/4 marks

Date and venue of written test will be intimated by post to all eligible candidate who have applied. It will also we published on the Official PTCUL website (Link given below the post). Selected candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer shall be initially appointed as Assistant Manager Trainee for a Time duration of 1 year and thereafter on successful completion of training be absorbed in a permanent position in PTCUL.
