CODE NO. 10: POLYMERS AND ADVANCED MATERIALS LABORATORY: 01 POST
Qualification: B E/B.Tech with three years experience.
Desirable: B.E. (E & TC), or B.E. (Instrumentation) or B.E. (Electronics) with First Class from recognized University
and with three years of professional experience in Research and Development in the field of Electronics and
Instrumentation and having knowledge of Hardware and Software development in Embedded Systems, National
Instruments hardware and LabView software, and PLC/SCADA is essential. Software skills should include
Programming in C, C++ and Visual basic, using Micro C compilers for Microprocessor programming etc. Hand skills
of assembly and fabrication of electronic circuits are essential.
Job requirement: To assist in design and develop custom built Instrumentation set ups and instruments, Automation
and Data Acquisition systems, Upgradation of machines and set ups for the research purpose, The work include
Basic hardware design, software development, mechanical design and fabrication etc.

interest in reactor/process engineering and process intensification or multiphase flows and multiphase reactors or
multifunctional reactors & reactive separators.
Job Requirements: The incumbent will undertake research in the area of multiphase reactors and process
intensification with sound engineering principles and to work with CReST (Catalysis, Reactors & Separations Unit) to
initiate new applications/ projects in this area. The incumbent is expected to lead independent research programs in
addition to participating in the NCL’s projects.
