The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), located in Bangalore, is part of the Tat Institute of Fundamental research. The mandate of NCBS is fundamental research in the frontier areas of biology. Our research interests range from the study of single molecules to ecology and evolution. In addition we engage in a number of collaborative initiatives, such as in Stem and the ibio; and we help to develop cutting edge instrumentation and software via C- CAMP.

Education: For Post 1–> BE/ BTECH (Electronics/ Biomedical Instrumentation) and For Post 2-> BE/ MCA from a recognized University with at least 60% marks.
Work Experience:
For Post 1: Upto Two (2) years experience in repair and maintenance of electronic instruments. Operation and Maintenance of EPABX/ Audio Visual Instruments/ Access Control and CCTV. Fresh graduates with good academic record are also encouraged to apply. Candidates should have good oral and written communication skills in English.
For Post 2: Upto Two (2) years experience in configuring computer hardware including WI-FI, routers, switches etc. software installation in Windows & Linux OS along with maintenance. Knowledge of computer networks, architecture in web technologies and web content management systems is desirable.Fresh graduates with good academic record are also encouraged to apply.Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment.
