Selection Procedure:

Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Written-test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interviews held at Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore. This is on the whole a 2 stage selection process which is followed by the medical examination.

Physical Standards:

i)Height & Weight: Min. Height standard for male candidates is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidates is 152 cm and 42 kg.

ii) Eyesight: The minimum acceptable visual acuity are, Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia of not more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence for having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity will be permanently rejected. Candidates who have undergone Lasik Surgery for correction of reflective error are not acceptable.

Application Procedure

Candidates applying Online, after submission of application take two copies of the application printout and the Roll No. generated by the system.

One copy should be mailed duly signed with a self attested photograph and attested copies of 10th class, 12th class certificates and Degree/ Provisional Degree of BE/ B.Tech or mark sheets of first six semesters of BE/ B.Tech to Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC Section, West Block_III, R.K Puram, new Delhi-110066 and superscribe the envelope with "Online Application-TGC/SSC (Tech) and the Roll No............".

The last date for receipt of such print outs is 20th July 2011. Candidate should appear for the interview with the second copy of the printout along with original certificates.
