Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Asia’s first Space University was established under the Department of Space in September 2007. IIST is presently offering 4-year B. Tech programmes in “Aerospace Engineering”, “Avionics” and “Physical Sciences”. Ph. D
programmes have already been initiated, while the M. Tech programmes and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in specific areas of Space Science and
Technology will be offered soon. IIST provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for research works and the Institute is setting up state-of-the-art facilities including high performance computing facilities to create the right research ambience.
Age Limit:
45 years for Professors and Associate Professors; 40 years for Assistant Professor.
Salary and Pay Scale: Pay band 4 (Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.8,900/-) for Professor.
Pay band 4 (Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.8,700/-) for Associate Professor.
Pay band 3 (Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-) for Assistant Professor.
+ HRA-20% and DA-27%.
