Project Title: Decision Support System for Enhancing Productivity in Irrigated Saline Environment using Remote Sensing, Modeling and GIS.

Salary:

Rs. 16000/-

Education: MTECH (Agricultural/ Agricultural/ Physics/ Water Science and Technology) + B.Tech (Agricultural/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics/ Geomatics/ Civil/ Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk Management/ Computer application in Agriculture) with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Desirable: Specialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/ Hydrology/ Water Science and Technology/Water Resources Development and Management/ Management degraded land and poor quality water/ RS and GIS applications  and evidenced from research work pertaining to application of geospatial tools, models and decision support systems in Irrigation water management.  Skills in programming with Visual Basic/.NET/VBA languages, expertise in use of Geo-informatics and Decision Support tools.
