POST NO. 1  :    TECHNICAL OFFICER/C (SAFETY)  
  • NO.OF POSTS     :    02 (UR-1 , SC-1) for Heavy Water Plant (Manuguru),Andhra Pradesh
  • QUALIFICATION  :   B.E. / M.E. degree in Safety Engineering with 60% marks

OR

  • B.E. in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with 60%  marks AND Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by Central/ State  Governments.
  • EXPERIENCE    :  Factory experience in Industrial Safety desirable.

POST NO. 2  :    TECHNICAL OFFICER/C (CHEMICAL)  
  • NO.OF POSTS     :        06 (OBC-3, SC-1 , ST-2)
  • [ One post for Heavy Water Plant (Manuguru), Andhra Pradesh,  Five posts for Heavy Water Plant (Baroda), Gujarat ]
  • QUALIFICATION  :   B.E./B.TECH (Chemical) with 60% marks from any recognized 
    university.

POST NO. 4  :  STATION OFFICER/A  

  • NO.OF POSTS  :   02 [ OBC-1 for Heavy Water Plant (Talcher), Orissa /            SC-1 for Heavy Water Plant (Kota), Rajasthan ]
  • QUALIFICATION  :      i) Passed SSC or equivalent + Certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. 
    Or 
    Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London.
  • EXPERIENCE:   Minimum  experience  of  5  years  in  a  post  not  below  the  rank  of  Sub-Officer  in  a  well  established  whole  time  fire  services  organisation  is essential.

Note :   Not withstanding  the above experience,  the candidate must have 3 years of relevant experience
after obtaining  the requisite qualification of Station Officer/A  for candidates without B.E.  (Fire)
qualification.
OR
ii)  B.E. (Fire Engineering).

Candidates  should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and be  fully  conversant with  the Operation and Maintenance of Fire Engines Fire Pumps and Other Fire Fighting Equipments.

 

HOW TO APPLY:

1.  Application  should  be  made  on  good  quality  white  A-4  size  plain  paper  and  should  be  in conformity with  the  format  prescribed  in  Performa  given  overleaf. Candidates  are  advised  to ensure that the application is legible, preferably typed in English or Hindi only.

2.  The  Candidate’s  Name,  Address  with  Pin  Code,  Date  of  Birth  should  be  written  legibly  in English in bold capital letters, even if a Candidate fills-in application form in Hindi.

3.  The Application and the outer cover should be superscribed as “Post No. _______   Name of the Post & Discipline ________________________ against Advertisement No. HWB/01/2009”.

4.  PHOTOGRAPH:   A  recent passport  size photograph  should  be  affixed  on  the  right  hand  top corner of  the application. One additional  copy of passport  size photograph  should also be  sent along with the application. 

5.  ATTESTED COPIES OF CERTIFICATES OF :

  • i)  Educational / Technical  qualification  (supported  by  appropriate mark-sheets  indicating  the subject offered at the examinations).
  • ii)  Date of birth proof.
  • iii)  Experience  Certificates  specifically  stating  the  kind  of  work  done  should  accompany  the application.
  • iv)  Certificates issued by the Competent Authority regarding their claim that they belong to SC, ST or OBC [i) Non-Creamy Layer ii) Validity certificate should have been issued within 3 years] in the prescribed Performa.
  • v)  Certificate from appropriate authority regarding physical disability (applicable to physically disabled persons only).
  • vi)  Discharge from Defence Service (applicable to ex-defence personnel only).

6.  NOTE:
i)  Persons working under  the Central/State Govt. Public  Sector Undertakings  should  submit their  applications  through proper  channel. They may, however,  send  one  advance  copy  of the application along with enclosures as detailed above  to  the address given below. But  the advance  copy  will  not  be  processed  unless  the  original  application  is  received  through proper channel.
