Uttarakhand Peyjal Sansadhan Vikas Evam Nirman Nigam (A Govt. of Uttarakhand Undertaking) Dehradun is having recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineers (AE) in their Company.
Educational Qualification Needed: (As on 01-07-2011)
The candidate must have a Bachelors degree(BE / Btech) in Engineering respectively from Govt. recognized Institute/University approved by AICTE or it’s equivalent
or
Associate Membership/Membership in Engineering respectively from Institution of Engineers (I), with Section A & B passed.Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Hindi Devnagri script.
Branches Eligible: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical
Work Location: The selected candidates can be posted at any place in Uttarakhand.
Age limit : (As on 01-08-2011) not exceeding 35 years of age.
Other eligibility Criteria:
(i) The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(ii) Married male candidates who have more than one living wife or female candidates who have married to a
person who has already a living wife are not eligible to apply.
(iii) Candidates serving in Govt./Semi Govt. Organizations must send their application duly forwarded by their present employer.
Mode of Selection: Written examination and interview.
The written examination will consist of a single, objective type question paper of three hours duration. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. The candidates who satisfy all other conditions will be called for the interview at Dehradun on the basis of merit list of the written examination. The candidates will not be entitled to any TA/DA for appearing in written examination and
interview.
CENTRES FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION: The written examination will be held at centres at Dehradun (Garhwal) and Pantnagar (Kumaun) in Uttarakhand.
