System Tester – BUSS R&D India
Education: BE/ BTECH (Computer Science)/ MCA from a recognized University.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare test plans for the UMI design activities
- Participate in Installation and Upgrade strategy for product deployment at customer sites
- Ensure that test activities are realized within approved time and quality
- Perform scripting activities to automate the product installation/upgrade and test activities
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of Test tools and System Test environment
- Experience of working in UNIX (Linux, Solaris) environment.
- Knowledge of common 3PP’s like oracle, java installations in Unix environment
- Good knowledge with Shell/Python scripting
- Unix admin and Database admin (PostGres, Oracle) knowledge would be an added advantage
- Must have good aptitude for Quality Assurance – Verification
- Attention to detail and Quality systems orientation
- Good attitude, interpersonal skills must be a team player.
- Be a self starter and able to work independently.
- Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
