Nature of Job: Designs and develops integrated solutions through tools, processes, and procedures to facilitate the cost effective delivery of engineering services. Provides planning, analysis, and development of system upgrades and user interface design solutions to complex human factor problems. Develops validation schemes and performs testing and integration and maintenance. Escalates problem resolution of computer environments, systems, subsystems, and components. Monitors, investigates, and resolves system operation issues in accordance with standard procedures; documents and communicates resolution. Tracks industry trends and technical developments. Analyzes potential system investments and prepares supporting documentation for recommendation( s) to management and customers. Bases results on independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues.
