Baitarani Gramya Bank(BGB) derives its name from the holy river Baitarani – cascading down from Gupta Ganga near Gonasika in Keonjhar District and criss-crossing the twin districts of Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj and finally flowing into the Bay of Bengal at Dhamara. Of the 5 Regional Rural Banks operating in Orissa State , we, BGB, are one of the two stand alone RRBs catering to the banking needs of the millions inhabiting the two developing districts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar. Again, we are the lone stand alone RRB amongst the 5 RRBs sponsored by Bank of India in the country.

Educational Background:
Graduate Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent. Sound knowledge English and Oriya is essential.
Desired: Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Preference will be given to candidates who are computer literates in MS-DOS, MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, and Networking etc.

Age Limit as on 01. 04.2011: 18 – 28 years.
Period of Probation: 2 years
Mode of Selection: Based on written test followed by Interview.
