JOB DESCRIPTION

Project title: Performance Studies on Heat Transfer Enhancement in a Jet Plate and Longitudinal Fins Solar Air Heater.

Project Fund no. 36-327/2008(SR), dated 28.03.2009

Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc(Engg.) Mechanical with minimum of 60% marks. Candidates should have interest in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Solar Energy.

Desirable: M.E in Thermal Engg. (Mechanical)

Duration: 3 years

Fellowship amount: Rs. 8000/ per month( fixed)

Age: Not exceeding 40 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST.

Fellowship: Initially fellowship is sanctioned for 2 years and the same may be extended for one year more. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates may get Ph.D degree through this project.

Position: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
